Welcome to KC Select Soccer Club
The KC Select Soccer Club was founded in 2005 as the result of a merger of the Scream Soccer Club, the Renegades Soccer Club, the KC Nationals Soccer Club and various other independent soccer teams. KC Select has more MYSA State Cup Championships (3), Finalists (8), Semi-Finalists (2) and Midwest Regional League Premier Division (1) Championships than any other club on the Missouri side of the KC Metro area. KC Select currently has teams ranked on the State, Regional and National level by NationalSoccerRanking.com. and GOTSOCCER.COM.
KC Select's core values center around Family, Education and Soccer Excellence. Our mission is to promote youth soccer development in the KC Metro area with a blended focus on individual skills and age-appropriate tactical training. This is accomplished in a positive environment where players will have fun when playing at a highly competitive level. KC Select's approach to training will allow players to play at the highest levels of youth soccer and prepare them to compete at the high school and college levels.

Sports are supposed to teach courage and determination, but rarely is the battle truly life and death as it has been for Kori Quinn. Diagnosed with Stage IV Ewing’s Sarcoma – bone cancer – in November of 2008. Kori has endured 25 radiation treatments and 14 rounds of chemotherapy, along with endless tests and procedures. Kori’s focus, however, is on raising funds for pediatric cancer research and getting ready for the upcoming soccer season at Excelsior Springs High School, where she is a freshman. When Kori was diagnosed and began treatment, she was immediately struck by how many other kids were battling cancer. Kori led her family and friends in forming the i-ROK Foundation to raise money for pediatric cancer research and Children’s Mercy Hospital. The name i-ROK (Kori spelled backwards) stands for “Imagine Getting Rid of Kancer,” and the foundation already has raised nearly $35,000. Kori and her friends on her club soccer team, KC Select – Viati ’95, have been the backbone of the foundation, which has held a variety of fundraisers, including its first 5K run over the past several months. Kori is still fighting cancer, but now she’s in the “wait and see” phase. A great student, Kori would like to be a pediatric oncologist someday. Those who know Kori know one thing is for certain, she ROCKS! |

Kaysie Clark

Kaysie Clark has been a member of the KC Select Soccer Club since she was eight. She’s enjoyed many successes with her team throughout the years she has been with the club. She was a part of the first Kansas City girl’s team to win a state cup in Missouri, won a 3v3 World championship, and has become recognized as one of the top players in the country in her age division. Currently, she is part of a core group of young women that have been called in to eight training/tryout camps for the U17 Women’s National Team in hopes to play in the U17 World Cup in 2010. Kaysie will be traveling to Florida in November to play with the Region 2 Olympic Development Programs’ 1993 team. Afterwards, she is hoping to travel with the U17 Women’s National Team to Brazil in December. A roster should be named for the 2010 World Cup Qualifiers sometime in February where she hopes to find her name!
